On 1 August, ArcelorMittal marked 20 years since the creation of our company. Over the past two decades, ArcelorMittal has grown into one of the world's leading steel and mining companies, navigating periods of profound change while helping to create smarter steels for people and planet.
Over the last 20 years, ArcelorMittal has evolved continuously. We have strengthened our global footprint, invested in innovation, expanded into new markets, developed world-leading products and solutions and played a role in some of the world's most iconic projects.
At the same time, certain principles have remained constant. A commitment to safety, sustainability, quality and leadership continues to guide our decisions and shape our culture. These values have helped us navigate economic cycles, technological change and global challenges while remaining focused on delivering value for our customers, employees, communities and shareholders.
From our formation in 2006 to the global leader we are today, our journey reflects two decades of innovation, investment and impact – and the role our steel has played in building the infrastructure, industries and landmarks that shape modern life.
